I purchased a brand new Suzuki Swift from Tavcor Suzuki in Gqeberha and unfortunately experienced issues with the vehicle from the day of delivery, along with a very frustrating experience with repeated visits to the Service Centre and additional damage noticed on the vehicle while it was in their care. I contacted Michael Pashut from CHANGECARS for guidance and assistance. Michael responded incredibly quickly, escalated the matter efficiently and got Suzuki Auto SA involved. Suzuki Auto SA responded promptly, handled the matter amicably and ensured that the situation was addressed appropriately. Absolute 10/10 service from Mike. I was blown away by the support I received.

A major car brand rejected my service because they said I was bringing the vehicle in too soon after the previous service. However, the last service was done 9 months ago at 11,000km and the car is now on 26,000km, meaning it was due for its 15,000km interval service, as per the manufacturer’s service plan of 12 months or 15,000km, whichever comes first.

After struggling to resolve it myself, I contacted Mike. He reached out to the CEO of the brand and had everything sorted within a day.

Just a big thanks to you for putting me in contact with the right people. I was not wrong, after stripping they found issues with the slave cylinder, so the clutch system was replaced. Hopefully the issue is now something of the past.  Though I received absolutely fantastic service from Ford, I do somehow feel sadden that it is an exception and a result of your email rather than the norm. We would to like thank Michael for assist us in resolving mechanical failure on our 2023 Audi A3. The vehicle which has 44 000km had a transmission fault. The Vehicle was taken to a Audi Dealership and confirmed the fault when tested. We were informed that The Freeway Plan will only attend to repairs if fault repeated twice and the vehicle needs to left at the dealership for a technician to drive the until the fault repeated . This was unacceptable and in desperation we emailed Michael of Change Cars as a long shot. Michael responded within 5 minutes and one The Shareholders of The Audi Dealership contacted me and informed the matter will be attended to immediately the next day at 9am we received a call from Audi informing us that the repair has been approved and the part is on back order from Germany and offered us a courtesy car for duration of repairs approximately 20 days. We collected the fully repaired and paid by Freeway R40 000.

Want to thank Mike for helping me to get a refund on a Liquid Capital maintenance plan and scratch & dent policy that I didn't want/needed when I purchased a new car from Motus Centurion. Reason being that new cars already have a service plan and warranty for a certain period of time and I have my own comprehensive insurance policy. After various requests to cancell above(sinceJanuary2023), emails and documents sent to the dealership over a 3 year period, and after the Dealer Principle also tried, and after I directly emailed and spoke to Liquid Capital who rejected the refund, Mike put me in contact with the Motus CEO and after having a chat, he sorted it out immediately. I am so greatful for your help Mike when I had to take in my car to VW NTT in Krugersdorp after the airbag recall campaign. My engine light came on after over six months of them replacing my airbag and was repeatedly told that it had nothing to do with replaced airbag and that I needed to pay for diagnostic. Although they've tried to resolve my concerns, they still haven't been able to get my car to fit the expected condition of a brand new vehicle. A year and few months later with less than 10 000kms and I've still got a rattling noise coming from my dashboard. After many months of back and forth, they've advised me that the dashboard needed to be removed for further investigation. This is not something I wanted to hear and so I have opted to cut ties and never buy a Chery ever again.

I have a Mercedes c63amg which I bought brand new in 2020. I was insured with a big company since day 1 of owning the car, only claimed once for a glass and never claimed nor missed any premiums. I was in an accident in September 2025. The insurer insisted on putting third party headlights for my car siting that it is out of warranty. I fought them until the case went to the adjudicator. This took almost 40days and my courtesy car had to be returned. I literally sent MIKEY form change cars a text in the evening, the following day he contacted me. Within a day, he had spoken to the insurers and assisted me in getting OEM parts for my valuable car and prolongation of my courtesy vehicle. Literally on one day. I am so grateful for his help. I am a ardent follower of the show All Thing Motoring and the Pod casts from ChangeCars. So when it came to my desperate situation I decided to reach out to them for advice. I purchased a Mercedes Benz GLC63s in May 2023, in December 2023 the computer module controlling the infotainment, climate control, navigation, vehicle settings, basically everything accessible from the center screen stopped working. For the past 15 months Mercedes Benz South Africa (MBSA) has had the part on back order and for the past 12months the vehicle has been parked off at the dealership (At the time of writing this review the vehicle remains unrepaired and parked at the dealership.) Within minutes of reaching out to ChangeCars for advice, Mike connected with me to give me advice and to invigorate my confidence to not give up. I call Mike my double esspresso (straight up, strong minded & invigorating). I have a Mercedes c63amg which I bought brand new in 2020. I was insured with a big company since day 1 of owning the car, only claimed once for a glass and never claimed nor missed any premiums. I was in an accident in September 2025. The insurer insisted on putting third party headlights for my car siting that it is out of warranty. I fought them until the case went to the adjudicator. This took almost 40days and my courtesy car had to be returned. I literally sent MIKEY form change cars a text in the evening, the following day he contacted me. Within a day, he had spoken to the insurers and assisted me in getting OEM parts for my valuable car and prolongation of my courtesy vehicle. Literally on one day. I am so grateful for his help. My car is currently awaiting parts delivery and finalisation of the repairs. I have never been so happy.
