The first shipment of Changan vehicles destined for the South African market has docked at the Port of Durban. The arrival of the vessel initiates the national rollout of the brand by its local partner, Jameel Motors South Africa, with the official market introduction scheduled for later this month.
This initial delivery, consisting of the Alsvin, CS75 Pro and Deepal S07 models, signals the beginning of Changan's long-term investment in the local automotive sector. The company has indicated its approach will be built on a foundation of trust, innovation and a focus on customer service.

To manage the logistics of this new venture, Jameel Motors South Africa has entered into a partnership with Vehicle Delivery Services, a local logistics firm. VDS will oversee the customs clearance, storage, and delivery of the vehicles from the port to dealerships across the country.
In a parallel development essential for its local operations, Changan South Africa has officially opened a new parts warehouse in Kempton Park. The facility, located near the R21 highway, is intended to provide national after-sales support. With a floor area of 7 500 square metres, the Pomona warehouse is designed to ensure the distribution of genuine Changan components to service centres nationwide.

The warehouse operation is supported by a partnership with DP World, a global logistics group. This collaboration is intended to leverage international supply chain expertise to meet the standards of Changan's global network, which operates in more than 70 countries. Together, these developments represent Changan's stated commitment to establishing a durable presence for the brand in South Africa.
