It goes without saying – or at least it should – corporate South Africa has a massive responsibility and role to play in road safety and these efforts were recognised recently at the 2025 Fleet Safety Awards ceremony that acknowledged the efforts of organisations, managers and drivers who have integrated road safety into their core business operations.
Eugene Herbert, CEO of MasterDrive, says: "These Awards honour those who recognise that road safety transcends compliance. It is about safeguarding lives, protecting families and creating a secure future for our country. The Awards showcased dedication and innovation while demonstrating that South Africa has fleet safety leadership. The winners help establish benchmarks to motivate the broader industry."
