Honda’s NC750X motorcycle, a staple for South African riders seeking versatility, has rolled out its 2025 model with refreshed styling, tech enhancements and a stronger sustainability focus. The updates cement its reputation as a practical, all-terrain companion, now featuring sharper design cues, a smarter cockpit and eco-friendly materials.

The 25YM NC750X sports a revamped LED headlight and minimalist bodywork, paired with a protective windscreen. A new 5-inch TFT display replaces older instruments, offering smartphone integration via Honda RoadSync. Riders can now access turn-by-turn navigation, music and calls through a backlit toggle switch on the handlebars.

The bike’s signature 23-litre under-seat storage – large enough for a full-face helmet – remains a standout feature, alongside optional USB charging.

Honda has incorporated Durabio, a bio-based resin, into parts of the fairing and windscreen, marking the first use of coloured Durabio in its lineup. This shift supports greener manufacturing while maintaining durability. Three new colour options – Earth Khaki, Matte Pearl White, and Fighting Red – add fresh flair.

Powering the NC750X is a 74 5cc twin-cylinder engine delivering 43,1 kW and 69 Nm of torque, paired with a fuel-efficient 14,1-litre tank for nearly 400 km per fill. The Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) option now boasts smoother low-speed control, borrowing tech from Honda’s Africa Twin.

Front braking gets a boost with dual 296 mm discs and two-piston calipers, while lighter wheels offset the added weight.

Riders can tailor performance via Throttle By Wire, offering three default modes (Sport, Rain, Standard) and a customisable USER setting. Honda’s Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) now refines rear-wheel grip management, with Rain mode tuned for slick conditions.

The NC750X recently clinched a Red Dot Design Award, while Honda’s EM1 e: electric bike secured an iF Design Award. These accolades highlight Honda’s sixth straight Red Dot win and third iF honour since 1997.
