Following a year of growth in the local market, the automotive brand Jetour has launched an official Owners Club for its South African customers. This initiative forms part of the brand's strategy to build a community and offer lifestyle benefits that extend beyond the vehicle itself.
Nic Campbell, Vice President of Jetour South Africa, stated that the launch represents a logical progression for the brand. “The launch of the Jetour Owners Club is the natural next step in building that connection, giving our customers a platform to engage with the brand, share their experiences, and become part of a growing community,” Campbell said. He added that for a new market entrant, customer treatment and product quality are key factors that distinguish the brand from its competitors.

Jetour introduced its models to South Africa in September 2024 and has since positioned itself within the country’s top 15 automotive brands. Sales of its Dashing and X70 Plus SUVs have performed well against more established competitors. The brand is set to introduce its first all-wheel drive T-series SUV in October. Earlier this year, Jetour was awarded Gold Status in the National Automobile Dealers’ Association’s Dealer Satisfaction Index survey.
The decision to create the club was informed by customer research conducted by the brand. Feedback from owners frequently highlighted the technology, infotainment systems, and the pricing of the vehicles as positive attributes. Campbell emphasised that this direct dialogue with customers is used to guide continuous improvements to products and services.
The Owners Club will provide members with benefits including service discounts, access to special events, and tailored offers from retail and hospitality partners. This follows several customer events already held by the brand, such as a festival in Johannesburg that was attended by thousands.

Prospective members can join the Jetour Owners Club by registering on its dedicated South African Facebook page and providing their vehicle's VIN number. The first 500 owners to sign up will receive a branded jacket from the brand’s new apparel collection.
