For many, the delightfully ‘old school’ setup of the Mazda CX-30 dashboard was instrumental in the buying decision but the company has now moved a touch tech-left with the itroduction of a touchscreen centre display.
Claimed as “aimed at refining in-cabin usability and design consistency across key models”, the new screen functionality activates when Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is in use, allowing drivers and passengers to interact directly with key infotainment functions via touch controls.
This feature complements Mazda's existing rotary command interface, offering users more options for navigating the system.

"With the new touchscreen functionality and refined interior styling, we're making the driving experience even more personal, more intuitive, and more connected to modern lifestyles. Wonderrrr truly awaits — and with the CX-30, the feeling will find you.”
Units reflecting the updated specification are expected to arrive at Mazda dealerships nationwide this month. All CX-30 models remain supported by Mazda’s 5-year unlimited kilometre warranty, 5-year service plan and 5-year roadside assistance.
