More power and torque are the hallmarks of the switch from D300 engine to the D350 on the the Land Rover Defender with power up by 36 kW and torque jumping by 50 Nm. The new 3,0-litre six-cylinder twin-turbocharged diesel engine delivers 257 kW of power and 700 Nm of torque, ensuring the D350 offers greater performance across various driving conditions.

The introduction of the D350 reinforces Land Rover’s commitment to producing engines that meet stringent emissions standards while maintaining high performance. The Defender lineup continues to evolve, with the introduction of the D350 engine joining a series of recent upgrades. Among them, the Defender 130 now offers the optional Captain Chairs pack, which brings luxurious individual seating to the second row. These chairs, separated by a central aisle for effortless access to the third row, feature both heating and cooling functions, ensuring optimal comfort for rear-seat passengers.

Another addition is the Signature Interior Pack, which elevates the Defender’s cabin with premium materials and advanced features. This pack is available across all body styles and comes as standard on the Defender X and V8 specifications, with an option for Defender Dynamic HSE models.
The Signature Interior Pack includes 14-way electrically adjustable front seats, complete with heating, cooling, and memory functions, along with new winged headrests for added support. Second-row passengers benefit from climate seats with similar headrest designs on Defender 110 and 130 models, while the third row also enjoys heated seating for consistent comfort in colder conditions.
