Bentley Motors has taken the wraps off its latest-generation Flying Spur, adding a fresh look and a hybrid V8 punch to its four-door sedan. The new model, set to roll out of Bentley’s Crewe factory from September, aims to blend handcrafted comfort with decent get-up-and-go, without going over the top.
For the first time since 1962, a Bentley sedan sports single headlamps up front. The design now echoes the Continental GT family, with cleaner, uninterrupted surfaces and a radiator grille that sits flush with the front bumper. Depending on the model, buyers can choose between two headlamp styles, while the old wing vent has made way for a smooth front wing, with badging moved to just behind the front wheel.

Round the back, there’s a new boot lid with flowing lines, fresh rear lamps, and a number plate surround painted to match the body. New 22-inch wheel finishes are on offer too, available on both Azure and S models.
The Flying Spur S is back, aimed at drivers who like a bit of edge. It comes with Bentley’s Performance Active Chassis and a high-performance hybrid setup. Power sits at 500 kW and 930 Nm – nearly 20 percent more than any previous Flying Spur S – and it now includes an electronic limited-slip differential.
The sprint from zero to 100 km/h takes 3,7 seconds, with a top speed of 307 km/h.
On the outside, the S gets the Blackline Specification: gloss black grilles, black Bentley wings, dark mirror caps, tinted matrix LED headlamps, and dark taillamps with sports exhaust finishers.
With the S model back in the line-up, there are now five seat styles to choose from. Each one takes about 12 hours of handcrafting, using either fluted or advanced quilted inserts.

Bentley has also introduced the Virtuoso Collection, featuring the Naim for Mulliner audio system – originally developed for the coachbuilt Batur model, where it cost around R590,000 (UK price). The system packs 21 speakers, including Focal-derived mid-range and tweeters with patented ‘M’ cones made from a single piece of material for better rigidity, lightness, and damping. The result, says Bentley, is a detailed sound without distortion.
The Virtuoso range comes in three themes – Soprano, Tenor, and Bass – ranging from light and serene to dark and dramatic. Champagne Gold detailing appears on badges, exhaust finishers, and even the key.
A fresh exterior colour called Dark Teal joins the palette. It’s a metallic mid-blue with green undertones and fine metallic flakes, meant to give the car a nature-inspired, understated depth.
Orders for the new Flying Spur are open, with first deliveries expected in most markets during the fourth quarter of 2026.
