In a world dominated by mass production and very often automotive ‘sameness’, it is heartening to note there are still some small, private companies building exciting cars – one of which is British carmaker Zenos that has unveiled the first engineering prototype of its new RZ model, which is scheduled to begin production in early 2026.
Staying true to the original E10’s design, the revived model aims to capture the hearts of a new generation of enthusiasts. It introduces more powerful engines and advanced production methods, signalling a fresh start for the brand.

This new E10 RZ will sit at the top of the revised model range. It is being developed as a benchmark for road-legal cars that feel truly at home on a race track. For Zenos, this marks the beginning of a new chapter, one that continues the British tradition of creating innovative, lightweight sports cars that focus on the pure experience of driving.
Under the bonnet, the E10 RZ features a thoroughly reworked 2,0-litre turbo-charged engine, now producing approximately 283 kW. This power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. The car’s lightweight construction contributes to a thrilling power-to-weight ratio.
The chassis, a signature feature of Zenos, combines a strong aluminium spine with a full carbon fibre tub for increased rigidity. The car’s track has been widened at the front and rear for better stability, and the suspension has been refined to improve handling and steering response. The bodywork is made entirely from hand-laid carbon fibre, crafted in the UK, which helps keep the weight low.

Inside, the driver-focused cabin will feature carbon fibre components and new instrumentation. The car will also sport updated front and rear lights featuring the latest technology.
The E10 RZ is expected to be revealed in its final form at the start of 2026, with deliveries following shortly after. It will be joined around three months later by the R2 model, which will feature a 2,3-litre turbo-charged engine producing around 242 kW. Zenos anticipates building fewer than 50 cars in the first full year of production. Interested clients can contact the company directly for more information on the limited production run.
