With consumer interest in the B-segment of the car market showing signs of revival, Citroën South Africa has taken the plunge and unveiled the updated 2026 model year versions of its C3 and Aircross models, introducing a series of feature enhancements aimed at improving technology and day-to-day usability.
Standard across the updated range are keyless entry with a push-button start system, cruise control with a speed limiter and an auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror and Citroën says these additions are intended to offer a more convenient and premium driving experience.

The C3, positioned for young professionals and first-time buyers, continues with its SUV-inspired styling cues. It is offered with 1,2-litre PureTech petrol engine choices, including a turbo variant paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. A 10-inch HD touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration, six crash bags and an electronic stability programme remain key features.

The Aircross, marketed as a compact family SUV, receives an updated interior featuring a new digital instrument cluster and redesigned dashboard. It offers a choice of 1,2-litre engines, with the turbo model available as an automatic. A flexible seven-seat configuration, where the third row can be removed, is available on selected variants. Rear passenger comfort is addressed with air vents and additional charging ports.

Both model ranges benefit from safety platforms that have achieved recognised international safety ratings. Additional standard safety specifications include ISOFIX anchors, and an electronic stability system.
The 2026 Citroën C3 and Aircross are now available at dealers nationally. The C3 range includes a 2-year or 30 000 km service plan, starting at R269 500 for the C3 Max MT. The Aircross range includes a 4-year or 60 000 km service plan, starting at R294 500 for the Aircross Plus MY. All models are sold with a five-year or 100 000 km manufacturer's warranty.
