Moving along fairly quietly amidst the hubbub of China brand launches, DFSK is celebrating its first anniversay in this market with plans to launch an additional three models next year – the E5 Plus SUV and the C35 four-seater as well as C32 double cab.

“The brands focus on affordability without compromising on reliability has resonated with local customers and we look forward to building on that momentum with the addition of numerous new models that stick to the same recipe of driven by duty, built for everyone,” says MD of DFSK South Africa, Gina Giani.

During its first full year in South Africa DFSK has substantially expanded the local dealership presence across the country and are now represented by a network of 24 dealers countrywide.

“Our dealer network is continually expanding. This growth reflects the confidence of our dealer partners and the increasing recognition of DFSK as a reliable, value-driven automotive brand in South Africa,” says Giani.

She says DFSK’s current line-up of panel vans and bakkies has found favour with last mile delivery services, such as courier services, grocery delivery providers as well as  tradesman and a growing number of fleet customers who choose DFSK’s unique solutions based on their reliability, performance and value with a starting price of R173 000.

The current spread of vehicles includes the DFSK C35 Panel Van  that offers a 5,1 cu/m payload volume, the DFSK EC35 electric panel van that merges the practicality and load carrying ability of a panel van with the clean and cost-effective attributes of a fully electric drivetrain. It has a range of up to 240 km and the ability to be charged to 80% in less than one hour.
