You have to agree with me here, a diesel sedan just makes a ton of sense. The amount of power and the effortless way it delivers it, paired with fuel consumption that still feels reasonable, is something you don’t fully appreciate until you live with it. It’s one of those setups that just works in the real world.
The E-Class has always been that perfect Mercedes shape to me. It sits right in the middle, giving you the sportiness of the C-Class and the luxury and presence of the S-Class, without going too far in either direction. This one gets that balance just right, and then adds a bit more attitude with the AMG sports package on top of the Avantgarde spec.
That’s not even the full story though. When you look at what this car offers, it starts to make less and less sense at this price point. The feature list is honestly ridiculous for its time. This was when Mercedes still gave you everything, proper buttons, solid build quality, and all the tech you’d actually use. It’s the kind of car that still feels modern, but with a level of quality and depth that you don’t really see anymore.
And then you factor in the full Mercedes service history and the condition this one is in, and it just becomes a no-brainer. You’re getting a proper luxury sedan, with serious performance.
