These days, new cars like this are filled with so much tech—it’s absolutely crazy! And this Taigo is no different. I love these cars. This particular one is pretty much brand new, inside and out, with only 8,000 km on the clock from new. It’s a one-owner vehicle, fully loaded with every extra these incredible cars come with.
I was slightly confused at first about where this car fits into VW’s lineup. It’s slightly bigger than a Polo but slightly smaller than a T-Roc. In my opinion, the Taigo has better styling than the T-Roc. While the T-Roc is a familiar sight on the road, if you park them side by side, the Taigo really stands out. So, if I had to choose between the two, this would be my pick.
A brand-new Taigo with this spec and extras will set you back roughly R640,000 if you walk into a VW dealership today. So my question is: Why on earth would anyone spend that much when you can buy this one, which is basically still new? Plus, this is a December 2023 model, which means the warranty and service plan will run the same length as a 2024 model!
I also love the colour—it’s very unique. It’s called Kings Red, and I must say, this car is fit for a King or Queen. The pics just don’t do it justice—it’s so much better in person. (Hint, hint… you need to come through to see this!)
