Additional Information
This vehicle is an unfinished project for the enthusiast. Pre-war MG special or race replica.
The body is a narrow body with cycle fenders, no doors, boat-tail rear end 2-seater.
The vehicle could have been a custom-built MG Special likely based on a 1930s MG L-Type or J2, fitted with a 1250cc Wolseley overhead camshaft inline six-cylinder. (possibly from the Wolseley Hornet Special)
It has a Volumex Roots type supercharger with twin SU Carburettors. The gearbox is a period MG manual.
MG specials were often built by enthusiasts in the Pre war era using MG frames with uprated parts. Hill Climb events were a popular event for these types of specials.
This could be the perfect vehicle to enter into Historic racing events when completed.
